Give you the reason

Do you ever realize why people are willing to do something for someone else that does not even benefit them? Most of us would say "It's none of my business. Why would I want to "

For example, we are willing to send that person home even though it is not on our way. Hear out a friend even though it is the most slightest problem have ever occured on Earth. Or even pay for that person even though he/she brought enough money to spend on both of you. A lot are couples who are willing to stay up late just to hear what the other half have to say although he/she are ridiculously sleepy. I know these are not the most crucial examples but you get what I mean, hopefully.

But when it comes to sensitive issues, let's say, an anger management program. Would anyone out there would get mad or hurt when someone says you need to go for an anger management program. Of course when you do feel that way, you are most certainly needed to go for one. How about religious events? Well.. not quite a religious one but an event that requires you to go to church? Why am I emphasizing on churches? Maybe because churches are the ones that are active in calling out everybody regardless their own religion? Well, sometimes when we enter the church and go through the whole event, we often hear about this person. Certainly you know who am I talking about.

So why bother? I know many of you out there has set up their mind. Regardless what they hear, they won't change. It would be like "Oh... That was touching" and few minutes later, it is as if they never said that sentence before.

Once again, why? Why do we constantly calling our friends especially the close ones to go for such activities? Is it to convert them? Is it the hope, the slightest hope that we can increase our number of members? Maybe. But it's not just because of that. Can anyone see the reason behind this? Why do people try so hard and sometimes don't try at all?

It's love. People love one another. You don't have to be a christian to know what is love. I say this maybe because, love is, different for everyone. Almost each person has their own point of view towards this subject. It is one wide one but yet simple. It depends really because for instance, Guy A might felt love if Girl Z tells him every dirty little secret about her while Guy B feels it when Girl Y constantly feeds him on lust.

Love is the one that gets people going on inviting others for seminar, programmes, religious events. Like I said, not to convert, but to share. To share the joy, experience and the life that they went through. It is because they themselves can be happy with their current lives, they too hope that other lives too can go through the same.

They love you. Just because they share does not mean you have to be in it. The power of decision lies beneath each and everyone of us afterall. Besides, what is love if it is done by force?

Encouraged

Have you ever felt so encouraged and motivated, then the next few days, maybe hours, you got very down and constantly saying to ourselves "No use one la..".

Maybe some of you out there hadn't but this feeling.. kept making me saying "No use one la.." once again.

I wonder why we, people on Earth have this thought adjusted to our mind. Regardless what people say to us, whether words of comfort or wake up calls, we still can fall on our knees and shout that favourite "victory" cry.

Truth being said, I've actually encountered a friend in a bus just now. It was pretty late and the bus was pretty full. Seeing him in the bus couldn't withstand the action of opening my jaws and say "Hi!". We had our little conversation difficult as I was standing and him sitting while there's one more person sitting in between. But still, that didn't stopped him from sharing his point of view.

He was telling me about passion. The passion of us doing what we like and kept on going and going as we continue to improve. His was about reading. Through a few examples he gave, I knew from that moment that this guy definitely reads a lot. Unlike me on the other hand, I barely read. Maybe that explains why is my English is, well, weird. I admit it is weird. Only my close friends who understands me can decipher what I'm trying to say. Sometimes they just couldn't because the chances of me being in my own world is ridiculously high. The English dictionary does not contain many words that I would like to describe.

So maybe writing is not my passion. I definitely can get myself improving if I start reading more but I just cannot stand reading. Maybe sitting will do but nah..

But there are others that get me fired up. Earlier this morning, my friends were on stage singing in a choir group. Watching a friend playing his guitar and hearing them singing, got me thinking how I could have improve this performance. I was thinking how a violin play would so much harmonize the song they were performing. But the problem is, I'm not even an amateur to begin with. I just hold a violin and played a few notes and viola~ I call myself a violinist.

I'm learning to accept myself as some sort of a sore loser. Lacking of knowledge and skills, I just can't seem to look at myself, how great I am as according to the Bible or even according to the secular definition.

If only I had some sort of encouragement. If only people don't go against me. Or if only people could have just looked at me.

I've got a friend. He is able to switch his views on himself. He has this ability of thinking "I'm great! I'll win!" and quickly "*sigh* I'm useless." I kinda dislike this feeling especially when the negatives parts he's telling me is false. Sometimes he tells me that no one cares for him. But the truth is, people do care for him and what he needs to see is their inner feelings instead of what they show outside. I mean, the tendency of people make fun of him and tease him is as high as they taking their daily bread. But he cannot seem to see how important is he to others.

Sometimes it goes to me too. I cannot and do not have the ability to look at the bright side and look at what people truly feels. I just can't help feeling that everyone wants to bring me down. Why? Something that I still cannot find the answer.

And therefore, maybe this is the feeling that is stopping us. This feeling that stopped us from continue our dreams and ambition. Stopped us from being hyped up to go on with our lives. We can either stop thinking this way because it's just a mere distraction or pray that we can find support from others. Genuine support.
