Just today, I had my first time experience of unleashing my organizing ability. In other words, I finally completed a task as a leader/head/organizer/planner of an orphanage trip. No. Rather all of us completed this task together.
This post is unlike my other post because it is dedicated to all of my friends who help out today. Seriously, not of this would be like this without anyone of you guys.
I want to thank Oon, Yap and Kah Wei for the games preparation. Although we kinda had a bad start... But still everyone had fun and laughed. Probably the most memorable part in this trip.
Thanks to Ivy, Glynn, Hui Ying, Zhi Qing, Wan Yee, Pui Yee and her gang for teaching the children how to make such beautiful bookmarks. I wasn't there but through the pictures I know that the kids really had a good time.
The girls who played futsal (Vivian, Joanne, Po, Parimala, Poh Teng, Mei Qi, Pei Qi, Nancy) with the girls. A very much thank you to all of you for staying/running under the sun with your sweats and towels.
Thank you, Seow Ying and Jia Wern for sparing some time taking photographs while everyone was playing with the kids. The pictures will bring back these memories as we go on with our lives.
Also the 4 first aid members for their presence and one of their singing... Safety wouldn't be there if you guys weren't there.
To Ms. Heng for purposely drive back to the orphanage just to pick some of us up.
Lastly, to the visitors Choo and Norman for visiting.
And not forgetting to every resident in the orphanage.. I doubt you all will read this but thank you for giving us such a great experience.
I'm also sorry, for being a not-good-enough leader for the event. Next time, I'll give a better shot. I know something we did not expect happened but I believe everything will be fine. But look at the bright side, we had one heck of a time there. Once again, thank you all for making this happen. Well, I'm pretty grateful.. Thank guys. So... Happy holidays! God bless you all. Oh.. and be sure to finish up your PLC. =D

Give you the reason
Do you ever realize why people are willing to do something for someone else that does not even benefit them? Most of us would say "It's none of my business. Why would I want to "
For example, we are willing to send that person home even though it is not on our way. Hear out a friend even though it is the most slightest problem have ever occured on Earth. Or even pay for that person even though he/she brought enough money to spend on both of you. A lot are couples who are willing to stay up late just to hear what the other half have to say although he/she are ridiculously sleepy. I know these are not the most crucial examples but you get what I mean, hopefully.
But when it comes to sensitive issues, let's say, an anger management program. Would anyone out there would get mad or hurt when someone says you need to go for an anger management program. Of course when you do feel that way, you are most certainly needed to go for one. How about religious events? Well.. not quite a religious one but an event that requires you to go to church? Why am I emphasizing on churches? Maybe because churches are the ones that are active in calling out everybody regardless their own religion? Well, sometimes when we enter the church and go through the whole event, we often hear about this person. Certainly you know who am I talking about.
So why bother? I know many of you out there has set up their mind. Regardless what they hear, they won't change. It would be like "Oh... That was touching" and few minutes later, it is as if they never said that sentence before.
Once again, why? Why do we constantly calling our friends especially the close ones to go for such activities? Is it to convert them? Is it the hope, the slightest hope that we can increase our number of members? Maybe. But it's not just because of that. Can anyone see the reason behind this? Why do people try so hard and sometimes don't try at all?
It's love. People love one another. You don't have to be a christian to know what is love. I say this maybe because, love is, different for everyone. Almost each person has their own point of view towards this subject. It is one wide one but yet simple. It depends really because for instance, Guy A might felt love if Girl Z tells him every dirty little secret about her while Guy B feels it when Girl Y constantly feeds him on lust.
Love is the one that gets people going on inviting others for seminar, programmes, religious events. Like I said, not to convert, but to share. To share the joy, experience and the life that they went through. It is because they themselves can be happy with their current lives, they too hope that other lives too can go through the same.
They love you. Just because they share does not mean you have to be in it. The power of decision lies beneath each and everyone of us afterall. Besides, what is love if it is done by force?

Encouraged
Have you ever felt so encouraged and motivated, then the next few days, maybe hours, you got very down and constantly saying to ourselves "No use one la..".
Maybe some of you out there hadn't but this feeling.. kept making me saying "No use one la.." once again.
I wonder why we, people on Earth have this thought adjusted to our mind. Regardless what people say to us, whether words of comfort or wake up calls, we still can fall on our knees and shout that favourite "victory" cry.
Truth being said, I've actually encountered a friend in a bus just now. It was pretty late and the bus was pretty full. Seeing him in the bus couldn't withstand the action of opening my jaws and say "Hi!". We had our little conversation difficult as I was standing and him sitting while there's one more person sitting in between. But still, that didn't stopped him from sharing his point of view.
He was telling me about passion. The passion of us doing what we like and kept on going and going as we continue to improve. His was about reading. Through a few examples he gave, I knew from that moment that this guy definitely reads a lot. Unlike me on the other hand, I barely read. Maybe that explains why is my English is, well, weird. I admit it is weird. Only my close friends who understands me can decipher what I'm trying to say. Sometimes they just couldn't because the chances of me being in my own world is ridiculously high. The English dictionary does not contain many words that I would like to describe.
So maybe writing is not my passion. I definitely can get myself improving if I start reading more but I just cannot stand reading. Maybe sitting will do but nah..
But there are others that get me fired up. Earlier this morning, my friends were on stage singing in a choir group. Watching a friend playing his guitar and hearing them singing, got me thinking how I could have improve this performance. I was thinking how a violin play would so much harmonize the song they were performing. But the problem is, I'm not even an amateur to begin with. I just hold a violin and played a few notes and viola~ I call myself a violinist.
I'm learning to accept myself as some sort of a sore loser. Lacking of knowledge and skills, I just can't seem to look at myself, how great I am as according to the Bible or even according to the secular definition.
If only I had some sort of encouragement. If only people don't go against me. Or if only people could have just looked at me.
I've got a friend. He is able to switch his views on himself. He has this ability of thinking "I'm great! I'll win!" and quickly "*sigh* I'm useless." I kinda dislike this feeling especially when the negatives parts he's telling me is false. Sometimes he tells me that no one cares for him. But the truth is, people do care for him and what he needs to see is their inner feelings instead of what they show outside. I mean, the tendency of people make fun of him and tease him is as high as they taking their daily bread. But he cannot seem to see how important is he to others.
Sometimes it goes to me too. I cannot and do not have the ability to look at the bright side and look at what people truly feels. I just can't help feeling that everyone wants to bring me down. Why? Something that I still cannot find the answer.
And therefore, maybe this is the feeling that is stopping us. This feeling that stopped us from continue our dreams and ambition. Stopped us from being hyped up to go on with our lives. We can either stop thinking this way because it's just a mere distraction or pray that we can find support from others. Genuine support.

What can I say? ; 1st
Well... My friend asked me to comment about "Should contraceptives be talked openly?".. So with much "pressure" ( I don't mean it's pressuring to share my views ) , it activated me to think about "What can we share outside the public?"
There are many sensitive and not-so sensitive issues we want to talk about but yet cannot due to the acceptance of one's mind. Meaning what we want to share to others may hurt and disturb one's environment when they hear about that certain topic.
I personally get affected when I hear about religion. Why? To be frank , I am a person who's spiritually or thoughtfully weak where I can be easily shaken or shift because of what people say to me. It's not because that my faith is weak but rather about what views people would place on me. I get easily affected by what others say to or about me. But let's not go to that far.
My point is , what people shares in public? Can we really just throw out our voices anytime anywhere?
Now let me comment about my friend's question. We know that many people have different views about contraceptives. Whether it can be shared aloud , I may not know. To me , I have grown in a manner that I have learned about the outside society through the books. As in the text book or school books. The term contraceptives came about when I was 15. So I assume here many people already known about this. So I too would like to ask back , "Why not?". And I strongly feel that it should be talked about even more because many teens these days fall into lust early. Well... People back then also had sex early but they were married. So it was not shocking to hear when someone get pregnant in the village because many get married early. But just a few decades before ours , people cannot accept if a girl gets pregnant if she does not have a ring on her finger ( Obviously I meant that ring for marriage ). Why? Even with the existance of contraceptives such as condoms , diaphragm , and many others , people still fail to appreciate that object lying around in every 24/7 shops.
People won't know about it if no one talked about it. Yes , we can quietly whisper to one's ears but does every community ( e.g. family ) would want to talk about it? They are more enforcing a child to not do it , after all , they want to protect their children , hoping their future will not be ruined because of the arrival of another life. I'm not sure about some countries but in here , they teach this sort of thing in schools and national service in order to prevent anymore unwanted pregnancies. There is also the wish of reducing the number of HIV ( sexual transmitted diseases ) cases. And I believed that knowing that there is such thing called contraceptives helped many to journey on their lives without additional burden until when it's time.
Besides that , I find learning from streets or talking about it in discussions actually helped us to be aware even more. We tend to remember what we talked about during informal times rather than formal such as schools and awareness campaigns. I mean , I am more interested about what a teacher shares to us much more than what a teacher teaches us.
So once again , why not?

The Global Warning of Global Warming
Yes... I know it's a pretty old documentary type of movie ( An Inconvenient Truth ) , but just watching a little bit of it makes me wonder , is it really that bad? Will our Earth be affected that much? Sea level rises , Hurricanes , Land Cracking ( Drought ) , Flood... It's ridiculous... How will we survive this catastrophe which is happening and affecting us indirectly?
It's a pretty good example that Al Gore used which is a frog jumping into a pot of hot water , it will quickly hop out once it gets in knowing it's well.. hot. However , if a frog jumped into a water which is in a lukewarm state. It will stay there. But when we turned on the stove , the water's temperature will definitely increase and the frog will take it's sweet time to react since it does not gets hot immediately. When the water turns into a ridiculously hot state , the frog will need to be removed instead.
And with many evidences , researches and speeches about global warming , but yet , why mankind are not putting much effort? Now I'm wondering whether it's true when he said certain people reply with responses like "So?" or "It's a normal cycle. It happened before.". True. People can say that. But if we know the sources are from us... Don't you think we can make a difference? I mean , people are actually preferring the thought of leaving it be when they can actually make something better?
And I know I sound rather hypocritical here , because here am I , watching the school burning leaves and just , watching it. Where I inhale the smokes produced through the burning of the leaves? Why don't I do something instead? But if anyone out there thinking about me as this , don't you think you can do something instead too?
I am not here to comment about this although I do sound like commenting about this.. But I'm actually here to point out what are in the minds of the people this time. I mean , the weather's getting hot... Even at night. But I just can't believe my ears if I've heard someone saying "So what?"

Look Behind
Ever wondered as you reminisce about your past , that "I can't believe I've actually went through this..". Notice how much we believe now that we are so determined about something but few days or months later , till we actually wished we could take back our words.
Or even how much determined we were back then , procrastinating on few things , thinking we can manage it as we put it behind schedule. Then when the time comes , BAM! , we rush through our works or worse , we decided not to do it.
So we tend to regret on many things...
But to some people , it may either be a laughing matter as they laugh through their moments or just another uplifting inspiration to push us further. Whatever it is , it's still a past that we cannot change. We can change however , the future that will become the past. What we're doing now definitely will become the past for us only to look at. Some are just too afraid to look at their past because it is something they didn't want in their life. So they kept it inside , letting no one to find out that one little secret. Some may call it as , not accepting their ownself.
Why? It is what we've done. Influenced by temptations or other solid reasons/alibi , we also tend to do things we're not proud of.
Which is why I believe acceptance plays an important role when it comes to cases like these. It helps majority of mankind to persevere what they are going through. I know some just rely on themselves but sometimes we really do need the help of others because we do not live on the Earth alone. Two afterall is better than one.
Each of us should do our best today then tomorrow will be the best yesterday.

Introduction
Hi. I am Daniel. Well , this is not my personal blog as my personal life really is personal. Haha. But this blog instead will be my thoughts and hopefully feedbacks about what the world has to say about few topics and issues.. As none can see , I'm actually interested in the studies of mankind. Though I'm not really sure whether my topics are actually all related to one another but I'll try my best.
Knowing many people and different types of people plus the feeling of "What if I was them?" got me thinking of many things. Not only that , maybe because of my past and experience living as myself made me who I am now and how I think of things.
Maybe it's the curiousity that is killing me , wanting to know more about the same but different people since I am one of them and yet not.
So I hope I can learn a number of things by posting a few things also hoped others can learn as well. Afterall , life is a learning process.
p.s I'm also using my style of delivering the message. Mind you.
